Event Details
The Fountain Food Run 5K is a family-friendly community run and walk in Lawrenceville, Georgia, hosted by The Fountain Church. The event raises funds for The Fountain Food Pantry and brings runners, walkers, families, volunteers, sponsors, and neighbors together to support local families.

The event is open to runners, walkers, families, church members, neighbors, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters. You do not need to attend The Fountain Church to participate.
Yes. The Fountain Food Run is designed to be a welcoming, family-friendly community event. Families are encouraged to run, walk, cheer for participants, volunteer, donate, and learn more about The Fountain Food Pantry.
You can run or walk. The 5K welcomes participants with different ages, abilities, and fitness levels.
The event supports The Fountain Food Pantry, which provides food and practical support for local families. Funds raised help stock pantry shelves, meet ongoing pantry needs, and strengthen the way the pantry serves the Lawrenceville community.
5K Registration
You can register online through the event registration link on the website. Click Register for the 5K and complete the registration form for each participant..
Yes. Children may participate with a parent, guardian, or responsible adult. Families are welcome to run or walk together.
Yes. Strollers are welcome as long as they can be used safely on the route. We ask participants with strollers to remain mindful of runners and walkers around them.
Registration details and any applicable deadlines will be listed on the registration page. We encourage participants to register early so we can plan for shirts, medals, supplies, and other race-day needs.
Yes, race-day registration will be available, but participants who register on race day are not guaranteed an event T-shirt. Registering in advance is strongly encouraged.
Please bring comfortable walking or running shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, water if needed, and any race-day information you receive after registering.
The Fountain Food Run 5K is planned as an outdoor event. If severe weather affects the schedule, route, or event plans, updates will be shared with registered participants through the event’s official communication channels.

Every registration, sponsorship, donation, and partnership helps support The Fountain Food Pantry. Funds raised help purchase food, stock pantry shelves, and strengthen the pantry's ability to serve local families throughout the year.
Absolutely. You can make a donation whether or not you participate in the race. Every gift helps the Fountain Food Pantry provide food and practical support to local families.
Yes. Non-perishable food donations are welcome on race day. Donation bins will be available, and we'll share a list of the pantry's most-needed items before the event.
Shelf-stable items are usually most helpful for food pantry support. Examples may include canned goods, rice, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, canned protein, boxed meals, and other non-perishable food items. Specific needs may vary, so please check the event page or contact The Fountain Church before bringing a large donation.
Proceeds from the Fountain Food Run directly support The Fountain Food Pantry by helping purchase food, maintain pantry operations, improve storage and distribution, and expand the pantry's ability to serve families throughout our community.
Yes. Businesses can support the event and pantry through in-kind donations, including food, bottled water, printing, signage, volunteer meals, professional services, equipment, first-aid supplies, coolers, ice, and other practical event needs.

Yes. Local businesses, organizations, churches, and community groups are invited to sponsor the Fountain Food Run 5K. Sponsorship supports The Fountain Food Pantry while giving your business meaningful visibility in the Lawrenceville community.
Sponsorship helps make the Fountain Food Run 5K possible while raising funds for The Fountain Food Pantry. Sponsor support helps cover event needs and strengthens the pantry’s ability to serve local families.
Recognition depends on the sponsorship level selected and may include logo placement on the event website, sponsor signage, social media recognition, event T-shirt placement, race-day announcements, booth space, and other listed benefits.
Booth space is included with sponsorships of $500 and above. Sponsors provide their own 10' × 10' tent, table, chairs, display materials, and activity supplies.
Not exactly. A donation is a gift made to support the mission. A sponsorship generally includes promotional recognition or event benefits in return. Both help support The Fountain Food Pantry, but they are handled differently.
Please consult your tax advisor regarding deductibility. The Fountain Church will provide the appropriate acknowledgment for sponsorships and donations.

No. Community Partnerships are based on collaboration rather than sponsorship. Some partners donate services, food, volunteer time, or other resources. Businesses looking for additional event visibility may also choose to become event sponsors.
Sponsors provide financial support for the Fountain Food Run 5K and receive promotional recognition based on their sponsorship level.
Community Partners primarily support the mission through ongoing services, resources, food, volunteer support, or other practical assistance. Many organizations choose to do both.

FOOD DRIVES
Hosting a food drive is a practical way to involve your employees, customers, students, church, or organization in serving local families. In addition to collecting much-needed food, it raises awareness about food insecurity and gives people a meaningful opportunity to make a difference together. Financial donations are always appreciated as well, and many partners choose to do both.
A Food Drive Partner is a business, school, church, organization, or community group that collects food donations before the Fountain Food Run to help stock The Fountain Food Pantry.
Anyone! Businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations, gyms, neighborhoods, and community groups are all welcome to host a food drive.
Complete the Food Drive Host form on our website. We'll provide collection materials, promotional resources, and instructions to help make your food drive successful.
Most food drives run for 2–4 weeks, but you're welcome to choose a timeframe that works best for your organization.
Shelf-stable foods are always appreciated, including canned vegetables, canned fruit, soup, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, canned protein, boxed meals, and other non-perishable items. We'll provide an updated list of our greatest needs before your food drive begins.
We ask each Food Drive Partner to provide a sturdy box, bin, or other collection container for donations. We'll provide a printable food drive poster, suggested pantry shopping list, social media graphics, and other promotional materials to help you encourage participation. If you need additional ideas for setting up your collection area, we're happy to help.
Our team will coordinate a pickup time that works for your organization, or you may arrange to drop donations off at The Fountain Church if preferred.
Absolutely! We welcome ongoing Food Drive Partners throughout the year. Regular food drives are one of the best ways to help keep pantry shelves stocked for local families.
Serving at the Event
You can sign up through the Volunteer page by completing the volunteer interest form. Let us know how you'd like to serve, and a member of our team will follow up with additional details before race day.
Volunteer opportunities may include event setup, registration and check-in, course marshals, water stations, food pantry support, parking, hospitality, cleanup, and other race-day needs.
No. Most volunteer opportunities do not require previous experience. We'll provide instructions and any training needed before your volunteer shift.
Yes. Students are welcome to volunteer in many roles. Younger volunteers may need to serve alongside a parent, guardian, or approved adult depending on the assignment.
Yes. Families, ministry teams, school groups, businesses, and community organizations are welcome to volunteer together. Let us know on the volunteer form if you'd like to serve as a group.
Arrival times vary by volunteer assignment. Some volunteers will arrive before the race for setup, while others will serve during registration, along the course, or during cleanup. Your arrival time will be provided before race day.
